TEACHER'S DAY CELEBRATED AT THE GLOLCAL UNIVERSITY WITH ENTHUSIASM

On 05th September 2023 the Glolcal University celebrated the Teacher’s Day under the guidance of Hon'ble Vice Chancellor of the Glocal University Prof. (Dr.) P.K. Bharti and took place at the university's Medical Auditorium. The inauguration of the program was done by the Pro Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Satish Kumar Sharma, Pro Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) P.K. Mishra, Registrar Prof. (Dr.) Rakesh Dhar Dwivedi, Dean Academics Prof. (Dr.) Pramod Kumar, Campus Director Prof. (Dr.) S.P. Pandey and other dignitaries by lighting a lamp. Following this, Professor (Dr.) Rakesh Dhar Dwivedi delivered opening remarks, shedding light on the life of former President Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan and asked students to draw inspiration from his life. During this program, all the teachers of Glolcal University were honored in various categories for their outstanding contributions to research and patent publication.

Certificates of appreciation were also presented to them. Prof. (Dr.) Pramod Kumar (Dean Academics, Glocal University) and Dr. Mohit received the award for the maximum patent publication. Young Researcher Awards were conferred upon Dr. Mohd Yusuf (Dean, School of Science) and Ms. Rashda Rahman (Paramedical School). Prof. (Dr.) Abdul Hafeez (School of Pharmacy), Dr. Mohd Gulfishan (School of Agricultural Science) and Dr. Mohd Wazid Khan (Glocal Law School) had honoured with award for maximum research and patent publication. Cultural programs were also organized during the event, where students left the audience spellbound with their performances. The program was jointly coordinated by D.S.W. Swarnima Singh and Mohammad Waseem. The program concluded with the singing of the national anthem. In this program, top officials of the university, teaching and non-teaching staff, along with a large number of students were present.
